Last Week: 2-1
Cowboys (-3) @ Bears – Thursday, 8:20 PM
Last week I took the Cowboys over the Bills on Thanksgiving and I’m still kicking myself. Dallas was outplayed in every aspect of the game. Chicago came back to defeat the Lions after a solid outing from Mitch Trubisky. I don’t even want to make a pick in this game, but here goes nothing. The Cowboys offense currently ranks 1st in the NFL in passing yards per game. Meanwhile, the Bears defense ranks in the top 10 in terms of passing yards against per game. The over/under is set at 43.5 and that seems reasonable. I’m hammering the under in this game. I believe both defenses will play well in this game and it could be a punt fest. Ultimately, I think Dallas has what it takes to pull out this game on the road, combined with Dak and Zeke on the offensive side of the ball.
Pick: Cowboys 23-19
Start: WR, Amari Cooper (DAL)
Sit: RB, David Montgomery (CHI)

Ravens (-5.5) @ Bills – Sunday, 1:00 PM
The Bills dominated the Cowboys last weekend and have finally beaten a decent team. This will be their biggest test of the season as Lamar Jackson and company come in riding an 8 game winning streak. During those 8 wins, the Ravens have beaten opponents by an average of 21 points per game. Jackson and Bills Quarterback Josh Allen have combined for over 1,400 yards rushing. I know there are a lot of good games this weekend, but this is the one I am most excited to watch. The Bills have the athletes on defense to limit Jackson’s running game and I think the Ravens streak ends in Buffalo.
Pick: Bills 27-23
Start: QB, Josh Allen (BUF)
Sit: WR, Marquise Brown (BAL)
49ers @ Saints (-2.5) – Sunday, 1:00 PM
Coming off a tough loss at Baltimore last week, the 49ers are on the road again as they take on New Orleans in the Super Dome. Always a tough place to play, but San Francisco has looked like the best team in football this year. The only two losses all season have come by a total of 6 points. The Saints have been playing well on the defensive side of the ball of late. At some point, Drew Brees will get the train rolling again and this could be the game they need to get back on track. The Saints are a -2.5 favorite at home, which tells me that the 49ers have a great chance to pull out a victory. I trust the 49ers defense to shut down the Saints in their own building. Jimmy G will have to make some plays in the passing game against a vaunted Saints secondary.
Pick: 49ers 37-29
Start: TE, George Kittle (SF)
Sit: TE, Jared Cook (NO)

Chiefs @ Patriots (-3) – Sunday, 4:25 PM
My bonus game this week is the Chiefs and Patriots because it was too enticing of a matchup to leave out this week. The last couple games between these two teams have been absolutely bonkers. Things have a different feeling coming in with the Patriots struggling on offense and Mahomes being injured for part of the season. I think New England’s offense gets back on track this week as they put up some numbers on the Chiefs defense. Julian Edelman is a huge play this week as he always performs his best in home games. For Mahomes, I believe he will have a typical Mahomes game, where he puts up big numbers. The game will ultimately be decided in the red zone, as it often does against a Bill Belichick team. The Chiefs have scored a touchdown on 21 of 39 (53.8%) red zone drives this season.
Pick: Chiefs 31-26
Start: WR, Julian Edelman (NE)
Sit: RB, Damien Williams (KC)
