Last Week: 2-2
I’d like to start this article by issuing a declaration: I will never pick the Dallas Cowboys again in a football game after the month of October. I would advise that you do the same. Last week’s Bills pick fell flat on its face, but it was a close-ish game to be fair. The Bills just could not generate enough offense to win the game and this is why they will be heading home early in the AFC playoffs. The 49ers-Saints game was one for the ages. Instead of watching that game, I watched the lowly Browns-Bengals game (what a waste of my time). Week 15 brings us multiple games with massive playoff implications. Here we go.
Bears @ Packers (-4.5) – Sunday, 1:00 PM
Following a close game with the Redskins, the Packers look to continue their 4 game home winning streak against the division rival Bears. Chicago needs a win to keep its slim playoff hopes alive after winning 3 straight games to crawl back above the .500 mark. This is a rematch of the season opening game in which the Packers won 10-3 in a defensive battle. Any time the Packers are at home, you have to go with them. The point total is set at 40.5 and you can expect another low scoring game. I like Green Bay to cover in this game and win.
Pick: Packers 23-16
Start: WR, Davante Adams (GB)
Sit: RB, David Montgomery (CHI)

Texans @ Titans (-3) – Sunday, 1:00 PM
The Houston Texans are the most perplexing team to me in 2019. Something just isn’t clicking and it feels like Bill O’Brien could be fired for not reaching this team’s full potential. Meanwhile, since the Titans have moved on from Mariota to Ryan Tannehill, they have been unbelievable winning 6 of their last 7 games. I have no faith in the Texans right now, especially on the road. But, they have surprised us before and could do so again on Sunday with their backs against the wall. I’m going to go with the Texans here in a gut check game against a division rival. Hammer the over.
Pick: Texans 34-27
Start: WR, AJ Brown (TEN)
Sit: RB, Carlos Hyde (HOU)

Rams (-1) @ Cowboys – Sunday, 4:25 PM
Ahhhh yes, the Dallas Cowboys at home in virtually a pick-em game in mid-December. Just the game I need to redeem myself from the last two weeks. Someone has to win the NFC East right? Barring a late season rule change from the NFL Dallas or Philadelphia is going to host an NFC playoff game. The Rams have suddenly reeled off two impressive wins in a row over the Cardinals and Seahawks. QB Jared Goff has looked better, but still threw 2 interceptions last week against Seattle. I have to believe that the Cowboys will show some kind of fight and step up to the challenge… Or I don’t have to believe anything that I just wrote. Rams are winning this game and Jason Garrett is one step closer to the unemployment line.
Pick: Rams 31-20
Start: WR, Cooper Kupp (LAR)
Sit: TE, Jason Witten (DAL)

Bills @ Steelers (-2) – Sunday, 8:20 PM
This matchup was flexed to Sunday night and it’s hard to argue with the NFL here. Pittsburgh has been playing extremely good football and doing more with less. Mike Tomlin has done an excellent job this season and has repositioned himself as one of the games top coaches. This is going to be an old-school style football game and I’m excited to watch it. The over/under is set at 36.5 and I would be wary of betting on this game. I do give the advantage to the Steelers for being at home, especially in a night game. But something tells me that the Bills are the better football team and will make more plays when it counts. I like Josh Allen to set up the Bills with a game winning field goal as time expires.
Pick: Bills 20-17
Start: WR, Cole Beasley (BUF)
Sit: QB, Devlin Hodges (PIT)
